About Jami

Hi, my name is Jami and I am a crafting junkie. I think in the past couple of years I’ve realized that the process of creating and learning is something I am addicted to. I love exploring different avenues of creation. I think it started when I was around 14 when I got a book from the library on knitting. I sat in my bean bag chair and poured over it, trying to translate it to my hands. I finally succeeded and made a few things, including a sweater for my little brother. I remember him wearing it. It was horrible in sizing but the stitches were pretty good. Fast forward to my late 20’s and connecting to my father’s side of the family and learning about my Choctaw Indian family. I began beading then and just kept on learning from there. That lead to lampwork glass bead making, silversmithing and on….
I take great pleasure in making beautiful things. I am gready and only do what I like. I am so very lucky to be surrounded by inspiration in my family, my home, nature and life.
