About Melissa

Hello! My name is Melissa Willette, and I have been a lampwork bead artist for about 4 years. My fascination with lampwork beads started while browsing a local bead store. After seeing some lampork beads in a dish, I just had to know how they were made. After seeking out some books, I found some on lampworking and just knew, right then and there, that I had to try this wonderful art! Four years later, and I’m still having the best time ever, making handmade lampwork beads in my home studio. I specialize in beautiful encased floral beads, but have a palette of much more! When I open my kiln to see my beads the following morning, the excitement is just like that of a child on Christmas morning!
